Private Workshops
Below are my Private Prenatal Workshop offerings! I also offer my Postpartum Essentials and Newborn Care Essentials Workshops Virtually upon request for $65! Please reach out with any questions!
Traditional preparation for labor might include reading, childbirth courses, hopefully some movement, breathwork, and… not much else. As a Certified Body Ready Method Pro, Registered Prenatal and Postpartum Yoga Teacher and Certified Postpartum Doula, Rachel understands the anatomical and physiological importance of physical preparation and education before labor begins!
This 3-hour, in-home or virtual session includes:
Overview of previous pregnancies and births, injuries and physical activity to help identify patterns in your body
Comprehensive review of your physical well-being and patterns during your current pregnancy
Education on the 3 levels of the pelvis and how we can move the body in order to open them, and practicing the movements so they won’t feel foreign when you need them most - during labor!
Analysis of how you might be holding patterns of compensation in your body that might inhibit that vital movement, and more.
Homework assignments to get your body ready for a smooth labor and recovery! (This can happen on your own, in one-on-one sessions with Rachel, or by joining her group virtual or in-person prenatal classes.)
Helping crafting birth preferences, sharing endless prenatal and postpartum resources, and more.
During labor, it shouldn’t be solely your responsibility to remember all of the information we’ll cover in this session!! Our hope for this session is that you’re able to practice the movements so they’ll feel more natural when they’re needed, and, to educate the vital members of your birth team, including but not limited to your birth doula and/or your partner so they can remind you - when you’re a little busy!
I strongly believe in education around the anatomical and physiological changes that occur during pregnancy so that folks can feel more empowered in their movements and workouts, WHILE preparing their bodies for the most incredible physical feat of their lives! In this session, we'll discuss your current workout routines, goals, how your body is feeling, and how you might consider adapting your practices for pregnancy. I strongly believe in training for birth and planning for postpartum recovery, not just dealing with symptoms and problems as they arise! This session is 3 hours long and includes personalized homework with suggested movements and breath work, typically focused on strengthening and lengthening specific parts of the body including the core and the pelvic floor, and any other areas of concern specifically for YOU! I recommend booking this session as early as you like, or when you're starting to feel like your body needs a little something different from you, typically around the end of the first trimester.
Please note that, because many of the topics we cover in Movement for Pregnancy (where your partner or birth team are welcome to join, but is just intended for you) and Movement for Labor (where your birth team members are encouraged to join and learn), will overlap, you can purchase a bundle for these two sessions!
So far on the registry, you’ve got a million adorable onesies, some diapers and… no clue what else you’ll need (emphasis on YOU). During this 2-hour virtual or in-home session, you’ll get to show Rachel what you’ve got and plan to get, get all of your “this one or that one” questions answered, and make sure you’re feeling prepared with allllll the gear you’ll need for baby, and for you! We’ll get your pump out, go through your home and talk about set-up, ALL the things:
Newborn Care (diapering, feeding - yes, all the breast and bottle feeding things - sleeping, learning and playing, etc)
Postpartum Recovery (for all types of birth, including all of the not-so-glamourous things you might not want on a public registry - babe’s not the only one who’ll need diapers!)
Support Plans (YES this can and should be on your registry)
…and more!
Group Workshops
I teach many monthly in-person Workshops all at Belly Bliss! Below is my schedule for 2027.
Postpartum Essentials Workshop
Prepping for postpartum is just as important as prepping for birth—and it’s often skipped.
In this class, we’ll cover what your body needs to heal: padsicles, sitz baths, breast and nipple care, abdominal support, and the nutrition that supports recovery. We’ll also talk honestly about the emotional side of the fourth trimester—what’s normal, when to ask for help, and how to protect your own well-being while caring for a newborn.
Come in prepared, so once baby’s here, you can spend your energy healing, resting, and bonding—not scrambling to figure it out. I recommend taking this class as close to 35 weeks as possible.

We’ll cover what to expect those first few weeks—safe sleep and swaddling, burping, gas relief, diapering and umbilical/circumcision care, bath time, and soothing techniques that help everyone sleep better. We’ll also talk through how to recognize colic, jaundice, dehydration, and reflux, so you know what’s normal and when to call your pediatrician.

Your pelvic floor does a lot of work during pregnancy, birth, and postpartum—let’s talk about how to support it.
We’ll start with an hour of education: pelvic floor anatomy, how it changes through pregnancy and birth, and how breath and movement can help it function well. Then we’ll put it into practice with an hour of yoga built around everything we just covered. Come for one hour or stay for both.
